Everyone experiences difficulties at some point.
With the benefit of wide experience over many years I have a variety approaches that I draw from and tailor to suit your needs.
Difficulties we experience can be in the 'here and now', or recently, such as the end of a relationship, the death of a loved one, the loss of a job or a serious illness for examples.
These types of difficulties respond best to counselling, working through the present concerns, voicing inner thoughts, being gently guided in appropriate directions and receiving positive feedback, without clouding the issue by relating the present to the past.

Sometime sudden traumas in our lives can prompt us to want to re-evaluate other areas of our lives. This desire for self knowledge can benfit from psychotherapy.
Other difficulties that we experience in life can be more general concerns such as feelings of depression, a lack of confidence, low self-esteem.
It could be relationship problems that re-occur or one of the many other issues that can happen in repeating cycles, stress, anxiety or panic attacks.
All these can benefit greatly from psychotherapy - a gentle investigation into how our past has created thoughts, values, beliefs and responses without us even being aware of it.
By releasing yourself from these old ways of processing you can find new ways to deal with your troublesome issues - if, after this process, they still exist!
Some difficulties need both counselling and psychotherapy - and a great deal of sensitivity and support.
Life coaching is a mixture of techniques used to aid you in the process of self-actualization.
Life coaching draws from a number of disciplines, such as sociology, psychology, career counselling, and numerous other types of postive counselling.
As the therapist I would conduct value assessments, facilitate behaviour modification, engage in your goal-setting, and use other techniques all aimed at assisting you to realise your potential.
